You have $500 to spend at the dealership but you won’t likely have a car of that brand, what do you buy?
Yeah, I am really hoping tomorrow moves this forward..

As E90M3 showed, get some golfballs or other VW branded gear. Although, if the tdi get’s bought back and I get a new car; I may purchase a few tires with the dealership card.

Does the dealer do detailing? If so I would ask them to do $500 worth of that.

Mouse pad. For awhile I would buy any dealer’s mouse pad. They always get dirty, then throw away.

I spent my card on the 20k service.
Still have $90 left over. I’ll probably buy some shirts or something.
Still haven’t spent the $500 cash card though.

Ah I used the cash card at Christmas, I was saving the dealer card for the 40k maintenance but let’s see if I can avoid that. But that depends on time tables for a buyback.

I figured I needed to spend over $400 at the dealer, might as well just use the card. I’d be shocked if I still have the car for the next 10k service interval anyway.

My credit card sends me $100 a year for MB accessories. I don’t have a Benz. I get coffee mugs or thermoses, pens, and sometimes they have nice shirts that have subtle MB logos.

Sounds like it’s their way of saying you need to buy a Benz

I want to pick up a ML diecast or one of those really nice MB wood phone cases. Wish I got a free $100 credit every year.

Well it’s an amex Mercedes Benz credit card. I got it when I was about to pull the trigger on a GLA 250 because they also send you a $1000 certificate every year to use on a new car (the credit card costs $450 a year but they waive my annual dues). Then I got a viper instead.

I haven't seen those at my dealership. Wood phone case sounds cool for sure.

They also sell a perforated leather one. Both are extremely classy.

A viper sounds like a better purchase than a GLA 250

Maybe buy small, easily shippable parts and then try to sell on ebay?
Besides that, only thing I can think of would be consumables, such as wiper blades. Maybe tires?

Id put $500 towards getting my PSE pump fixed...

Was an experience. 10k miles in a year. Glad to say it sold recently though.

What are you getting to replace it?

I don’t know, honestly. I got my wife a Cayman S and we have an incredibly practical and reliable 08 Camry. She drives the Camry most of the time, so I was driving the Cayman a lot. I am toying with the idea of a BMW 2002 or a Volvo 1800ES, but might just save the money up.
Right now I drive a horrible Mitsubishi Pajero while I navigate the Mario Kart like streets of Amman, Jordan. Work has me assigned here for a few months.

You can shop online and find way better stuff than the dealer has, then have the dealer order it in for you.

I know why you’re asking, but I’m going to assume my $500 is for a two wheels dealership. Then I buy riding gear!

Oil, parts, fluids, a keychain or shirt or something. It adds up fast

Update: looks like I will possibly be spending on that 40k service if it needs something not covered since I will have the car until October, you better believe I’m signing up as soon as possible.
